Teresa Irene Waibel

Teresa Irene Waibel was born on December 3, 1956, to Beatrice and Raymond Waibel. At that time, she joined her five older siblings and would welcome her two younger siblings within the next four years. Teresa loved growing up on the family farm off Padgett Road in Hillsboro, Oregon and being a lifetime member of the St. Matthew Catholic Church community. She was a role model of generosity and hospitality throughout her life. Her absolute devotion to her family and her trust in her siblings and God were unwavering. Because of organ failure, Teresa died on July 30, 2022, reuniting with her parents, her brother, John and sister, Colleen. Teresa and her legacy will be treasured and honored by her sisters, Mary Stadelman, Carol Koenig, Polly Waibel, her brothers, Father Philip Waibel, OSB, Tony Waibel and five nieces, seven nephews, fourteen grand-nieces, four grand-nephews and two great-grand-nephews who loved and delighted in her.

Funeral Services will take place on at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Hillsboro, Oregon on Thursday, August 4, 2022: Recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 AM; Mass of the Resurrection at 11 AM. Luncheon Reception will follow the Mass in the parish center. Private interment will be at a later time at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Portland.
