Sharon Jurdy

Sharon Jurdy (Wimmer) of Portland Oregon, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her children and beloved family on July 9, 2022 at the age of 61. Preceded by her father Wilfred, mother Lois, and brother Jeffrey. She is survived by her 4 children; Kevin, Andrew, Jessica, Meghan, her 4 grandkids Aubrey, Beau, Charlotte, Drake, and her siblings; Lisa, Jennifer, Lauren, Carol. A beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, aunt and cousin who is known for always putting others first. Sharon was a stellar employee for 40 years and member of IBEW and gave them her best every day until the end. She is remembered as always enjoying the wonderful times spent with her grandchildren, her weekly gardening, and the occasional podcast. When not at home she loved to take excursions to the beach and wine country. A private graveside service will be held at Gethsemani Funeral Home and Cemetery. Followed by a reception at the family home.
