Robert Torralba Asa, affectionately known as Bob, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024, at the age of 77 in Portland, Oregon. He was born on April 12, 1947, in the Philippines, and was a proud alumnus of Lyceum of the Philippines University.
Bob was a pillar of kindness and generosity, known for his infectious humor and loving nature. He took great pride in his roles as a devoted husband of 58 years to Linda Asa, a loving father to Rodelo, Rose, Robert Jr., and Leslie Asa, and a doting grandfather to Ryan, Lorelle, Gina, Lexi, Bobby, Riley, Nicole, Larissa, Rachel, Brooke, Brayden, Libby, Tinslie, Raiden, and great-grandfather to Everett, Asher, Ezra, and Nolan.
Bob will be deeply missed by his sons-in-law, Chris and Tim, grandsons-in-law, Bryce and Bailey, siblings Fred, Melba, Winda, Norma, Jun, Bayani, Emily, William, and Sonny, along with many other beloved relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny, mother, Marcela, son, Ringo, and brother, Reynaldo. Bob leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, having touched countless lives with his generosity and genuine spirit.
