Rhonda Rae (Willey) Nations passed away from cancer in her home on August 29, 2024. She was surrounded by her family as her earthly life came to a close.
Rhonda Willey was born in Redmond, Oregon on August 16, 1964. She grew up in Oregon with her parents and brothers. She was married in 1985 and had a son, Dillon Bragg in 1990. Rhonda worked as a banker for 1st Interstate and Wells Fargo Bank.
In the early 1990s she was introduced to a tall, dark, mustachioed man, David Nations. They spent several years together until July 20, 1996, they were married in Forest Grove, OR. In late 1998 Rhonda and David moved into their home in Beaverton, OR where she resided until her passing. In February 1999 they welcomed their first daughter, Vienna Belle. In July 2001 Ruby Jalena was born and thus the Nations Family was complete.
Eventually, Rhonda stopped working in banking and focused on the care and upbringing of the children and family business, NW Plumbing and Drain. When Rhonda wasn't cooking or baking a delicious meal or dessert for her family, she loved to thrift. This meant hunting down every garage sale in town, despite her daughters’ groans from the backseat as she found another winding series of arrows to follow. Rhonda also loved to spend time in nature, whether gardening or "forest bathing", as she always said. She loved her family dearly and loved Jesus most of all.
In recent years Rhonda worked for Good Samaritan Ministries in Beaverton, OR putting her faith and accounting skills to use.
Rhonda was a devout believer in Christ and his promises. Her faith ushered her peacefully through her battle against cancer and continues to bring the family solace during this great loss. She was a fantastic wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Rhonda is survived by her husband David Nations, son Dillon Bragg, daughters: Vienna and Ruby Nations, grandchildren: Jasper, Chuck, and Elli-Mae Bragg, and brothers Rick, Ryan, and Rex. She was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Phyllis Willey, an unnamed baby, her Grandchildren Jonah David Bragg and Elinor Rose Bragg.
