It is with immense sorrow and heartbreak that Pedrito Q. Enerio's family announces his sudden passing on June 12, 2018.
Pedrito "Jun" Q. Enerio was born on August 4, 1944 in Manila, Philippines, to the late Gloria Quijote and the late WWII hero Pedro Enerio. He passed away at age 73 in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from University of Santo Tomas from the School of Architecture. He was an active commercial and residential architect in the Philippines which included major projects such as the renovation of Malacañang Palace, Heart Center, Lung Center & Kidney Center of the Philippines. He migrated to Portland, Oregon in the '90s with his family.
Jun also loved listening to an array of music as he eminated the voices of his favorite singers at family parties and in his own leisure. He had a passion for the arts, as he collected art and architecture books. He loved preserving memories and was a hobbyist photographer. He was always a mellow man, with a big heart. He is sorely missed and fondly remembered by many.
Pedrito is survived by his wife Ligaya "Joy" Enerio, his daughters, Johanna Rose and Jacquelyn Rose. He also leaves behind his grandson Mikhail Marcus.
Family and friends may attend the visitation on Friday, June 22 from 5pm to 9pm at Gethsemani Funeral Home. Liturgy will be on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10am, to be followed by his interment at Gethsemani Cemetery with reception afterwards.
