Joyce Darlene Bastasch

Joyce died in West Linn, Oregon, August 22 2019 at 84 years old.
Joyce was born in Newberg, Oregon March 6, 1935 to Leslie Louis and Bernice Angela (Beauchemin) Sprogis.

Joyce was first and Foremost a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, dedicated to The Catholic Church.
She had a lifelong passion of tracing her genealogy and was a member of the Oregon historical society, the Saint Paul historical society and a is descendent of one of the early pioneer families of Oregon with many family members buried in the Saint Paul Catholic cemetery.

She worked side-by-side for many years with her husband Frank raising Peter, Mike, Jim, and Coco as well as helping in the family business.

Her life came full circle again with the move to Oregon back to her roots where she resided with her son Jim his wife and their children in West Linn Oregon. Joyce was member of our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Oswego Oregon


So it truly is fitting that we are all gathering here to pay our final respects, and to lay Joyce in the hallowed ground of Saint Paul Catholic Cemetery next to her father and mother her grandmother and her grandfather and many other relatives who came to this incredible place. Please pray with us all now for Joyce and for all her family.

She is survived by Frank and three of her children Peter, Mike, and Jim. Her daughter Coco passed away. She is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
