Jeanette passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her husband and children after a nearly 10 month battle with cancer. She leaves behind her loving husband, Gary Crawford, children Celia, Eric, Evan and Audrey. She will also be missed by her sisters Michele Brooks (Darin), Anne Lorber ( Brad) and Teresa Greenstreet (Joe Gefroh), brothers Gary (Shara), Eric (Hannah) and Brian (Alyssa). She also leaves behind her parents Gary and Sally-June Greenstreet and several nieces and nephews. Jeanette kept up friendships with several of her school friends in addition to the many friends she made during her lifetime.
Jeanette graduated from All Saints grade school, LaSalle high school and went on to receive her associates degree in graphic arts from Mt. Hood Community College. Jeanette met her husband there at Mt. Hood and they were married on August 4, 1990. She worked for the Enterprise Courier for two years as a graphic artist until the paper ceased operations helping to design their final issue. She then began a new job at the Vancouver Columbian newspaper as a graphic artist for nearly 10 years. She retired from there to stay home to raise her family in their home in Happy Valley. There, she became a member of Christ The King Catholic Church where she served on several committees and sang in the church choir. She had recently returned to work part time as a cake decorator for a local ice cream shop. It was something she had a flair for and enjoyed very much.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Jeanette's name to First Image (www.First-Image.org) was her wish. Thank you.
