Grace Yeh Carper, 72, of Aloha, OR, passed away on February, 29th, 2024 from a long battle with cancer. As many people knew, Grace was passionate about her relationship with Jesus and the church. Her dedication showed in the many hours she spent daily in worship or volunteering at both St. Cecilia’s and Our Lady of Peace Retreat House. Her strong connection with the Lord was a driving force in her efforts and desire to help those less fortunate. Grace was close to the Lord, and often heard his words to her. As her close friend Julie said, “Grace predicted the time and day of her death two days before it happened to Mila and me when we went to visit. From out of nowhere, she said that Jesus told her that he would come for her in two days. Her demeanor was calm, collected, pensive, and at peace. Two days later, on Thursday we received a call that Grace passed on peacefully that morning. We were stunned. God is good. Fly high with the angels, my friend.” Grace will be very missed by her congregation, friends, and family, and her last wish was for everyone to know that she is very happy to finally be Home with Jesus. Grace is survived by her siblings, David Yeh and Linda Kuok, her husband, Joel Carper, her child, Christine Waller, and her grandson, Miles.
