Diane was born in Superior, Wisconsin from parents, Byron and Elaine Rawn.
Diane graduated from East End High School in 1956 and later worked as a lab technician before marrying Bob Rothery on October 18, 1964.
Once married, she devoted her time as a full-time Home Maker and made it a priority in raising her two children. Diane was a St. Therese parishioner for 53 years and an active member and volunteer in the church and school. She was meek and humble with everyone that she came in contact with and those that knew her would remember her as a gentle , kind and generous woman. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and had a special interest in Padre Pio, Our Lady of Fatima and St. Therese of Lisieux. She was there for her family till the very end.
She was a talented painter, enjoyed reading, and gifted in sewing (arts and crafts). Diane will be remembered as a spiritual and kind soul, who always place others before herself. She was known as a gentle, generous and compassionate person. A genuine and beautiful woman. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Rothery; Children; Kathleen, Scot and his wife, Jennie Rothery. Grandchildren; Lynn (Stefan), Lauren, Emily, Matthew (Karley), Morgan, and Luis. Great-grandchildren; Margot and Matteo. Sisters; Nancy and Kathy Rawn.
Funeral service for Diane will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church on June 21st, 2021 at 11:00 AM. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM before the service. Burial will take place at Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery following the funeral service.
